Retail Glass Marketplace
The Foci MCGA Galleries support our mission of gathering people to explore the creative potential of glass. Divided into two models, the Marketplace Gallery and the Exhibition Gallery provide a venue for sales and exhibitions for established and emerging glass artists. Both galleries serve to raise awareness of the use of glass as an art medium by educating the membership, students, collectors, and the public as to the sculptural, design, and installation possibilities with glass. The Marketplace Gallery is intended for the sale of low to mid-priced glass items including housewares and gifts, functional items and sculptural objects, and jewelry.
Current artists email gallery@mnglassart.org to schedule an appointment for artwork review. Artwork dropped off without an appointment will not be accepted.
New artists interested in selling work through the Marketplace should email gallery@mnglassart.org to inquire. Include a brief artist bio and artwork description, 3-5 images of your work, and links to your website or social media handles.
Upcoming Artist Opportunities:
Foci MCGA's 2026 Grand Uffda Annual Fundraiser & Silent Auction will take place the evening of February 28, 2026. We are excited this year to have MiNHi England, from Netflix's Blown Away Series, as our guest artist for the event. The Grand Uffda is Foci MCGA’s most important fundraiser of the year with a goal of raising $16,000 in one night! Proceeds go directly to support Foci MCGA’s mission: to gather people to explore the creative potential of glass. One of the fundraising aspects of the Grand Uffda is our in-person Silent Auction. We are asking members of our community and beyond to donate artwork/tools/materials/services with a retail value between $40-$400.
We understand that artists are often asked to donate their work to auctions and recognize that donating work comes at a price to working artists. As a gesture of our appreciation for donated goods, we are giving artists the option to retain 30% of the final bidding price of auctioned items. Additionally, the first 20 donating artists accepted into the silent auction will receive a discounted ticket to the Fundraiser which includes admission to the Sponsorship Preview and Main Event.
Please note, submissions are juried by Foci MCGA staff and applicants are not guaranteed acceptance. Acceptance notifications will be ongoing until February 10, 2026.
Application is open from now until February 8, 2026
Acceptance notifications will be ongoing until February 10, 2026
